After meeting in London in 2012, Duck and the duo Bompas + Parr created numerous bodies of work inspired by such shared interests as the Hubble Telescope, secret codes and setting things on fire.

Their last collaboration saw them put an instagram casting call out to the people of London who might be keen to sit on a cake or jelly, and be photographed doing so.

In a room with plastic on the floor, an arsenal of fluffy and creamy cakes at their disposal and some enthusiastic strangers, ‘Cake Holes’ was born.

This series has been exhibited at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, 2017 + The Design Museum in Holon, 2023. It was also the most shared + viewed on ‘It’s Nice That’ 2016.
